This unit is identical to the unit my Neurosurgeon uses for my herniated L3-L4 discs. It works great,but be careful with this device. It’s diminutive size belies its great power. I run mine at setting 3 and that very strong. I highly recommend this unit and the company.

My first TENS unit I got from a doctor,and it was covered by insurance--two plusses one would think. Not so,for this unit I ordered from medicalproductsonline.org is both better and less expensive. Just one example of "better" is that the doctor’s unit did not have a cover,so I would suddenly change settings if I inadvertently touched,say,a counter top while the machine was clipped at my waist (quite a "jolt" if the intensity button was pressed). In contrast,this unit has a cover,and,I agree with a previous reviewer,is very powerful. Regarding cost,though my previous unit from a doctor was covered by insurance,the unit manufacturer billed my insurance company monthly as though I were "renting" their product as what is called "durable medical equipment." As a result,my insurance company and my healthcare savings account together paid well over $1,000 the first three months for the machine,replacement pads,and batteries! Shocked by the Explanation of Benefits forms from my insurance,and the fact that this billing would have continued,I realized I could have purchased and had shipped 21 machines from medicalproductsonlline.org for the amount of money this one machine from a doctor cost my insurance company and me. Hard to believe,but true. In short,I highly recommend this unit I purchased from medicalproductsonline.org. I ordered by phone from a very helpful lady,and I have had no problems with this company or this tens unit,a real bargain,in my opinion. Short of finding a way to eliminate the cause of pain,this unit is a wonderful help for living with pain.

I love this unit,my tailbone was severely damaged and thus removed,but to no avail. I am in chronic pain,more so when the weather pressure goes low and a storm is nearby. I feel the pressure even when it is in Maryland or New York. I highly recommend this unit.
